Sites You May Want To Visit

In my cyber wanderings, I often come across wonderful sites, on everything from theatre to free software. Here's your chance to gain from my 'vagabondism'

The first link, of course, has to do with my first love, theatre. It's called Stageplays.com and has everything you may need in theatre, whether you're looking for a play to read or produce, or books on theatre, or simply a forum where (mostly) playwriting is under discussion. If you're a playwright or producer yourself, you'll find it an excellent place to connect with people and resources. Here's the link:

Playwrights on the Web - an international database of playwrights & their websites offering production & publishing opportunities

And then, sorry Faye, we come to my second love, Faye Durham.

And then, we move on to my third love, writing. Jabberwocky is a group of writers who, between themselves, can tackle just about any writing job. From simple resumes to complex business reports, Jabberwocky can handle it all. Send a mail to Ahmed Karim to know more about Jabberwocky:

karimahmed@rediffmail.com

Or, just visit the Jabberwocky homepage.

Whether you're a playwright or an author, or any other kind of wordsmith, you'll love The Word Detective.  It's Evan Morris' online version of his newspaper column, where he tracks down the origin of words sent in by readers. Fascinating stuff.

Interested in networking with like-minded people online? I'm new to it myself, but I quite like the Ryze network. While you're at it, also take a looks at Ecademy

Are you a writer? Or better yet, a reader? Check out this kewl site that brings writers together. You might find something you like: Earthcafe
