This is usually the most difficult and easiest post on a blog. On one hand, the blogger wonders if he / she is going to have enough material - and time - to post regularly to the blog.
On the other, all one has to say is something like, "Yo! I have me a blog. Check it out!" and that becomes a blog post.
This blog is called "The Theatre Blog".
This tells people several things. One is that I refuse to abandon the British spelling and call it Theater. Some might call this snobbishness. I call it force of habit. My fingers type theatre and so theatre it shall be. After all, this IS my blog.
Another thing it tells people is that this blog is about theatre. Now, I don't want to comment on productions or stuff like that here. Unless a production reinforces something I think theatre should be about or actually is, comments on productions will be kept to myself or posted on my general blog. Bear with me, there's a method to the madness.
I'd rather keep this blog positive and informative.
So I intend to post inputs on traditional as well as contemporary theatre. Readers are encouraged not to agree with the posts and post their own views in the comments.
I'm setting this blog so that anyone can post a comment. If the spammers make things too difficult I'll look into other options.
